Sudbeck to Compete at USATF Junior Championships Friday

After completing her first season with the Rainbow Wahine, freshman University of Hawai'i track and field thrower Haleigh Sudbeck will take her talents into elite company, competing Friday at the USA Track & Field (USATF) Junior Outdoor Championships at Hornet Stadium.

Hawai‘i Swim & Dive Teams, Five Individuals Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America

Five University of Hawai'i swimming student-athletes earned distinction on the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America teams. Additionally, both the UH men's and women's swimming and diving teams earned Scholar All-America recognition.

Four Warriors Among U.S. Junior National Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Three members of the University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team – outside hitters Brett Rosenmeier (Virginia Beach, Va.) and Austin Matautia ('Ewa Beach, O'ahu) and middle blocker Patrick Gasman (Clovis, Calif.) – and incoming freshman Gage Worsley (Moraga, Calif.) have been selected as part of the 12-member United States Men's Junior National Team which will compete in the FIVB Under-21 World Championship, June 23-July 7 in Czech Republic.

Iosia Named To U.S. Women’s Junior National Training Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—USA Volleyball has announced its 16-player U.S. Women's Junior National Training Team (WJNIT) for which the final 12-player roster will be selected for the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's U20 World Championship. Hawai'i setter Norene Iosia is among the 16 players selected to the training team. The 2017 U20 World Championship will be held in Boca del Rio and Cordoba, Mexico from July 14-23. The U.S. qualified for the World Championship by winning gold at the 2017 Women's U20 Pan American Cup in San Jose, Costa Rica.
